Nursing Assistant

A reputable and busy Drug Shop located in Busabaala, off Entebbe Road, is currently seeking a compassionate, hard-working, and customer-oriented female Nursing Assistant to join our small healthcare team. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day operations, offering community health support and excellent service to our walk-in clients.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a young professional eager to gain hands-on clinical and pharmaceutical retail experience. Full accommodation and food will be provided to the selected candidate on-site.

• Greet and attend to customers visiting the drug shop, offering guidance on over-the-counter medications.
• Dispense prescribed drugs and healthcare products under appropriate professional supervision.
• Check and maintain proper inventory records of all stock, monitoring medicine expiry dates.
• Keep the drug shop premises, shelves, and medical display units clean, organized, and sanitary.
• Record daily sales transactions and handle customer payments accurately.
• Provide basic first aid and patient support while maintaining excellent customer relations in both English and Luganda.
• Report daily operations, critical stock-outs, and unusual medical inquiries to the supervisor.

• Must be a female aged between 20 and 25 years.
• Excellent communication skills with absolute fluency in English and Luganda.
• A basic certificate or training in nursing, community health, or midwifery is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a welcoming, empathetic attitude towards patients.
• High level of integrity, reliability, and readiness to live and work on-site in Busabaala.
